The Top Shelf Perfect Minnow swimbaits are as impressive looking as they are expensive. I dont think theres a nicer looking one on the market, but in a head-to-head comparison here on Kentucky Lake the Basstrix hollow body beat it hands down. I fished the Top Shelf for an hour or two with no luck at all. Finally rigged up a Basstrix and on the second cast a 3 pounder exploded on it. Over a hour I caught three more nice fish. Went back to the top shelf to try it again and never caught a fish. In my opinion the Basstrix is simply a better lure...and it costs less.
